Announcements
New Hours announced
Due to state budget cuts our ibrary will be forced to shorten hours. As of January 1, our hours of operation will be:
Monday 10 am - 8 pm
Tuesday 10 am - 8 pm
Wednesday 10 am - 6 pm
Thursday 12 pm - 6 pm
Friday 12 pm - 6 pm
Saturday 10 am - 3 pm
- State budget cuts public library funding by 20% and eliminates most online resources. Other service reductions include reduced hours, the loss of our rotating DVD collection, and fewer book and audio/visual purchases.
- First Annual Winter Book Sale - Saturday, January 16, 8 am - 1 pm. See our Calendar page for more information.
- Childrens Programs for Winter/Spring -Find out more and to register your children.
- New Computers: Ten new computers have replaced older machines thanks to a grant from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. The 15-minute express machines have been moved to the cafe area. Note, the computer lab will be closed for a training session on the morning of December 30.

Live Homework Help
*Now offering support for students in grades K - 12, beginning college students, and adult learners!
Live Homework Help is an online classroom service designed to assist those from grades K to 12 and beyond, Live Homework Help also provides assistance for those approaching college. Subjects include Math, Social Studies, Science, and English. Tutors are available every day, 3pm to 10pm. Lessons and assistance in Spanish are also provided.
Please note, To access this resource, users will be required to enter the bar code number from the back a current library card. McBride Memorial Library bar codes are fourteen digits and begin with the numbers "22241" It is not necessary to enter all fourteen digits, only the first five digits of the bar code are required.
