Job Title:  Children’s Librarian

Job Description:  Full-time position working 35 hours per week.  Proactively plans, organizes and delivers services in the Children’s Library. Performs managerial duties related to library operations, outreach programs and special activities. Focuses on early literacy initiatives and kindergarten readiness.  Continually seeks and finds ways to promote increased use of the Children’s Library. Works with school librarians and community groups to develop and expand Children’s Services.  Must have MLS, early career librarians encouraged to apply.  Reports to the Library Director. Job Title:  After-School Program Coordinator

Job Description:  Half-time position working 20 hours per week.  Coordinates with Children’s Librarian to create and run highly effective and smoothly-functioning systems that support the day-to-day functioning and communication of the after-school and summer programs. The coordinator of after-school and summer programs establishes and maintains positive working relationships with staff, parents and students, working collaboratively to create programs that teach children how to solve problems and build literacy skills.  Focuses on elementary and tween aged children and proactive hands on learning.  Must have an associates or bachelors in education.  Reports to the Children’s Librarian.
