Announcements 
- Annual Friends of the Library Cake & Ice Cream Social - Held in conjunction with the Summer Concert series on Thursday July 15 at 6 pm. In addition to food and treats, there will be music, a book sale, and other family fun. Benefits the library!
- Learn about natural health- Monday, July 19 at at 6:00 PM.
- Author Visit - Berwick native and published author, Alan Fleishman will be here to discuss his book Goliath's Head on Thursday, July 22 at 6 pm.
- Genealogy Workshops - Two monthly workshops for the beginner and experienced researcher. The introductory course will take place on the second Monday of each month while the workshop for practicing researchers will take place on the fourth Monday of each month. These courses are free to the public from 6:30 – 7:45 but registration is required since space is limited to 10 individuals.

Heritage Quest is Back! The popular database for genealogical and local history research has been restored. The Heritage Quest Database includes over 140 million census names, over 24,000 family and local histories, and 1.9 million genealogical and local history periodical citations. Heritage Quest online offers easy searching and makes it easy to download, print, and take notes on information. This program has been restored for patrons of McBride Memorial Library thanks to the generosity of Arndt Insurance Agency and the Arndt Family.
Live Homework Help
*Now offering support for students in grades K - 12, beginning college students, and adult learners!
Live Homework Help is an online classroom service designed to assist those from grades K to 12 and beyond, Live Homework Help also provides assistance for those approaching college. Subjects include Math, Social Studies, Science, and English. Tutors are available every day, 3pm to 10pm. Lessons and assistance in Spanish are also provided.
Please note, To access this resource, users will be required to enter the bar code number from the back a current library card. McBride Memorial Library bar codes are fourteen digits and begin with the numbers "22241" It is not necessary to enter all fourteen digits, only the first five digits of the bar code are required.
